2001 Results

Congratulations to our Champions and Finalists!

The 10th Annual Swingtime In The Rockies WCS convention was held on August 10-13 in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver CO.

Except for the professional contests, there were seven judges for each contest. The judge panel included : Angel and Debbie Figueroa, Brent and Kellese Key, Jeannie Tucker, John Wheaton, Michelle French, Sylvia Sykes, Wayne and Sharlot Bott, and Jo Thompson. Kelly Buckwalter was the head judge. In the professional contests, the contestants judged each other. Preliminary contest rounds were scored on the "Yes/Alternate/No" basis, and finals were score using the relative placement method. Awards were made for the top 7 places in the professional contests, and the top five places in all others. In those Jack & Jill contests where more than 10 couples danced in finals, only the top 10 finalists are listed. The following are the results of the contests at the convention.
